Ciudad Juárez industrial vacancy rate rises to 6.6% in August

Ciudad Juárez's industrial vacancy rate closed the month of August at 6.6%, an increase from the 5.5% recorded in the same month of 2025, according to market figures.

The increase is explained by the addition of nearly 70,000 square meters of available space during the month, a figure that pushed the vacancy rate above six percentage points and places it as the highest level recorded in the market over the past year.

Among the factors driving this trend is the vacated space from four industrial properties, with a combined surface area of more than 24,000 square meters, as well as the completion of construction of an industrial building in the Bafar II Industrial Park, which adds more than 23,000 square meters of available space.

By submarket, those with the greatest impact were Southeast, West, and North. The West submarket posted the largest annual increase in its vacancy rate, rising from 4.5% to 8.8% between August 2025 and August 2026.
