Heavy industry strengthens with investment in Metelmex mega plant

In recent days, the Mexican company Metelmex announced that it will invest 5 million dollars to build a mega plant in Monclova, Coahuila, in order to meet the demand of the national and US markets.

In these facilities, it will generate 485 new jobs and manufacture products for the heavy industry, thus serving companies in the railway sector that are located in the central region of the state.

During the start-up of the construction of this factory that will be dedicated to the manufacture of products for the heavy industry, Miguel Ángel Zertuche Quintero, president of the Metelmex Board, highlighted the growth that they have had in recent years and how it has been gradually until consolidating as a benchmark in the industry.

“This investment deserves to be valued, because we invest in our territory, because we believe in our people and we know about Coahuila's competitiveness at the national level.

We are sure that we will achieve our objectives because there is a qualified and prepared workforce for these projects,” said Zertuche Quintero.

Likewise, he assured that the expansions that they have had at a general level have served as job generators and that will help them to have a total of more than 1,000 collaborators.
