The Government of the State of Guanajuato has officially launched "Guanajuato Suma," a new public policy for economic development with a long-term outlook extending to 2050. The initiative seeks to transform the state's industrial base, shifting it toward sectors such as advanced manufacturing, electromobility, artificial intelligence, semiconductors, and sustainable technologies.

The event announced the immediate attraction of 17 new investment projects totaling $2.558 billion, which are expected to generate more than 3,500 direct jobs. This capital originates from countries including the United States, Brazil, Great Britain, France, Canada, Taiwan, and China, and will be directed toward sectors such as data centers, renewable energy, agribusiness, services, and the automotive industry.

Guanajuato has secured a total of $6.406 billion in committed investment during the current state administration, distributed across 76 projects projected to create 18,111 new jobs.
