
Trade uncertainty between Mexico and the United States has led developers to adopt a cautious stance. This situation, coupled with the slowdown in industrial warehouse leasing, has caused a pause in the construction of new projects.

Industrial leasing in the country reached 1.2 million square meters during the first quarter of the year. This figure represents a 20% decrease compared to the same period last year.
In northern Mexico, industrial developers have opted to reduce the start of new projects due to the slowdown in the leasing pace. In this region, only 200,000 square meters of construction have begun, representing a 27% decrease compared to the previous year.

Meanwhile, in the first four months of 2025, San Luis Potosí reported an occupancy of 28,000 square meters, which is half of what was recorded in the same period in 2024.
