
The Swiss company Buhler is building its first plant in Mexico, in Matamoros, Coahuila. This investment, amounting to $51.6 million, is expected to generate 500 direct jobs.

During the groundbreaking event, the governor of Coahuila, Manolo Jimenez Salinas, highlighted that his administration has managed to attract more than $7.2 billion in investment, creating nearly 45,000 jobs since taking office.
Buhler specializes in the manufacture of machinery and equipment for various industries. The new plant will be located in the La Laguna industrial zone.

Coahuila's Secretary of Economy, Luis Olivares Martinez, affirmed that Buhler's arrival is a success in collaboration between the government and private companies. Olivia Enriquez, general director of Buhler in Mexico, explained that the company decided to establish itself in Coahuila due to its attractive investment environment, its infrastructure, and a strong work culture.
