As of the end of August 2026, office construction in Mérida stands at approximately 16,000 square meters, representing a 44% decrease compared to the same period in 2025.

Construction activity is concentrated in two of the city's main corporate submarkets: Blvd. García Lavín and Cabo Norte. Of the two, Cabo Norte is showing the most dynamism.

During 2025, projects totaling approximately 5,000 m² of office space were launched in this submarket. Expansion continued in August 2026 with the start of construction on a new development that will add 2,200 m² of leasable office space.
