The Bajío industrial market saw a slowdown in activity during July and August 2026. During this period, demand for industrial space surpassed 130,000 square meters (m²)—a figure lower than that recorded a year earlier, according to data from the real estate platform Solili.

Between July and August 2025, demand stood at approximately 230,000 m²; thus, the 2026 figure represents a year-over-year decrease of roughly 44%.

Aguascalientes accounted for 25% of the demand recorded during July–August, making it the market with the largest share for the period. It was followed by Querétaro with 24%, while Guanajuato contributed 15%.
Among the other markets included in the analysis, Tijuana represented 15% of demand, Saltillo 12%, and San Luis Potosí 9%. Meanwhile, Tecate recorded no transactions during the two-month period.
