Yongmaotai Automotive Technology, a Chinese manufacturer of aluminum automotive components, announced a $63 million investment to build a new plant in Coahuila, Mexico.

The plant is expected to be completed in two years, aiming to strengthen supply chains for clients such as General Motors, Volkswagen, BorgWarner, Continental, and Bosch.

The company stated that the measure seeks to reduce exposure to global trade tariffs and, at the same time, strengthen relationships with key automotive customers.
