Termoplásticos MNLH begins its new plant in Nuevo León

With an investment of 340 million pesos, the company Termoplásticas MNLH begins the construction of its new plant in Pesquería, Nuevo León, dedicated to the transformation of plastics, mainly for the home appliance market.

The new headquarters at Airport Technology Park consists of an area of 10,000 square meters, from where it will produce plastic parts, using the processes of extrusion, injection, thermoforming, corrugating and overmolding, and will also offer decorations with stamping, pad printing, laser engraving, and additional processes. such as die-cutting, welding and assemblies.

“We are betting on Mexico, and within the country, we do not see any better place than Nuevo León. "Here we are investing and growing our operations," said José Alberto Ramírez, general director of Termoplásticas, who added that the construction of the new warehouse is planned over a period of 12 months, and they hope to start operations during the first half of 2025 with the support of more than 230 collaborators.

It should be noted that today, Termoplásticas MNLH is a Tier 1 and Tier 2 supplier of some of the most important home appliance companies that have production plants in Mexico and with this investment, the company intends to increase its operations with current clients, acquire new clients. within the home appliance sector and venture into new industries.

"Currently, 90% of our production is aimed at the household appliances sector, and we will continue to serve new companies in this industry, but we also want to diversify," explained the manager.

The company chose the municipality of Pesquería for its strategic location; Nuevo León is the main appliance manufacturer in the country with 40% of national production according to the Appliance Cluster of the state of Nuevo León. In addition, appliance manufacturers want to invest $1.5 billion in Nuevo León to take advantage of the benefits of nearshoring.
