Taxan expands its Millennium industrial park plant in San Luis Potosí

Within the Millennium industrial park in San Luis Potosí, the expansion of the Texan plant will debut, a company of Japanese origin that belongs to the Kaga Electronics group, which had an investment of 40.6 million dollars.

Said growth dedicated to the manufacturing of electronic cards for the automotive sector will generate more than fifteen hundred jobs, these will be added to the thousand current collaborators that the firm already has, thus boosting the economy and production of the state.

Regarding its client portfolio, Taxan reported that they will have Nissan, Ford, Mazda, Toyota, Acura, Honda, Infinity and Konica Minolta, located in the Bajío region and seeking to exploit the North American market with its easy access to it from this area.

The company will now have a total area of 80 thousand square meters in the Millennium industrial park, with this expansion the Japanese Tier 2 supplier will be able to produce 500 thousand electronic cards per month, through 11 assembly lines distributed in an area of 26 thousand 750 square meters.
