SK Tec invests $19.8 million in the expansion of its facility in Irapuato

The Japanese company SK Tec celebrated the expansion of its plant located in Irapuato, Guanajuato, with an investment of $19.8 million, which will generate 80 specialized jobs.

Today, the plant employs 200 people and manufactures interior parts, hoods, doors, and seats, with an annual capacity of 12 million units and sales exceeding $21.7 million.

SK Tec operates as a Tier 2 supplier and maintains 70% of its supply network with local companies. Its main clients include Aisin Mexicana, Imasen México Technology, Y-tec Keylex México, TS-tech, and TBA.

The plant stands out for its technical capacity and process flexibility, in addition to offering well-paying jobs that improve the quality of life for families in the region.
