
According to information from the real estate platform Solili, the Bajío region in Mexico recorded a start of 300,000 square meters of industrial construction during the first quarter of 2025, consolidating its position as a dynamic hub for industrial infrastructure in Mexico.

During this first quarter of the year, 21 industrial projects began construction in the region, of which 13 were speculative developments while the remaining 8 were carried out under the BTS model, tailored to the specific needs of companies.
The distribution of construction starts in the Bajío region was led by Querétaro with 62%, followed by Guanajuato and San Luis Potosí with 16% each, while Aguascalientes accounts for only 6% of the total.

Compared to the first quarter of 2024, industrial construction starts in El Bajío grew by 14%, representing a positive market response despite international uncertainty, such as the tariff policies promoted by the President of the United States.
