
At the close of the first quarter of the year, the markets comprising the Bajío region began construction on more than 300,000 square meters of industrial properties, reflecting robust performance by developers in the area.
In total, 21 industrial projects were launched, of which 13 were speculative developments and 8 were built to suit, tailored to the specific needs of companies.

Querétaro led industrial activity in the region, starting construction on 62% of industrial warehouses, positioning itself as a key player in the national industrial sector.
Followed by the markets of Guanajuato and San Luis Potosí, with 16% each, while Aguascalientes held the last position with 6% of industrial construction starts in the Bajío region.

Construction starts for industrial buildings in the Bajío region reported a 14% increase compared to Q1 2024. This increase occurred despite the climate of uncertainty generated by the tariff policies implemented by President Donald Trump in the United States, which have generated caution in foreign investment.
