Vehicles such as the Versa, Kicks, Frontier, and NP300 are produced in the state, while its engine plant reached a cumulative production milestone of 16 million units in 2023.

An auto parts and automotive component supply chain has developed around the assembly plants, manufacturing items such as seats, sensors, electronic systems, metal parts, and other products. This structure enables Aguascalientes to participate in both final assembly and intermediate stages of the automotive supply chain.
