Neolpharma will build 3 plants in CDMX with an investment of 800 million pesos

The Neolpharma Group, dedicated to the pharmaceutical sector, made an investment of 800 million pesos for the installation of three plants in Mexico City (CDMX), two of them in the Coyoacán mayor's office and one more in the Vallejo industrial zone.

According to what was reported by Fadlala Akabani Hneide, Secretary of Economic Development of the CDMX, in the case of Vallejo, the firm will expand the plant it already has; while in Coyoacán, the two new headquarters will be established in abandoned laboratories to install an injectable plant and a research center.

The investment will bring with it new job opportunities, and many of them will be jobs for young people who have graduated from universities, chemical pharmacobiologists or chemical or biologists from different professions and, at the same time, all the indirect jobs that are generated from these investments that are made in the city.

The investment plan consists of three axes. The first consists of the installation of a plant focused on the development of advanced medicines for autoimmune diseases and vaccines; this complex would be generating 400 direct and 50 indirect jobs.

The second project includes the operation of an injectable plant, with a manufacturing capacity of 300 million syringes and ampoules for cancer, diabetes and other diseases; with the creation of 800 jobs.

The third is a pharmaceutical development and procedures center, which will have the capacity to research and develop around 30 projects a year.

On the other hand, Astrea Ocampo Gutiérrez, CEO of BioGenTec, stressed that this is very positive for the city due to exports, repatriation of capital, jobs and everything that it brings such as science, technology and self-sufficiency for our country in terms of health. .
