While sales of U.S. goods to the Mexican market grew at a year-over-year rate of 1.2% last year, to $337.96 billion, shipments of U.S. products to Canada fell 3.8%, to $336.518 billion.

In this way, Mexico marginally surpassed Canada, continuing a trend in which these indicators have been narrowing in recent years, according to Census Bureau data.
