The Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Daimler company, with an investment of more than 200 million pesos, put into operation a new truck distribution plant in this area, at the height of the Central de Abastos.

This investment will allow to employ 150 local inhabitants directly and a thousand indirectly, informed Mayor Fernando Vilchis Contreras during the inauguration of the place.

The new distributor of the automotive plant is located on an area of 30 thousand square meters and the construction covers more than 17 thousand meters.

Vilchis Contreras said that along with new investments, the project of the Public University of Ecatepec is also consolidated, with the support of financial donations from the private initiative; which could be located in Ciudad Cuauhtémoc, because it is one of the most vulnerable areas of the municipality.

He reported on the impact of the automotive company in the municipality, because in addition to the sources of employment that originated its construction, it will also allow to employ 150 workers directly and a thousand indirectly, which will allow them to provide them with better life opportunities.

The fifth distributor of his Mercedes-Benz company, Freightliner and Daimler, is located on land acquired from a local family. And it is located on avenida Antigua México - Pachuca and Texcoco - Lechería highway, Jardines de los Báez neighborhood, which distributes trucks of the Mercedes-Benz, Freightliner and Daimler brands.
