Mexico’s office market sees lower vacancy rates and rising rents
Centro Urbano | October 15, 2026 |

The office market in Mexico continues to show signs of recovery, driven by reduced space availability, growing demand, and an increase in rental prices. This trend unfolds as companies prioritize properties with superior technological features, strategic locations, and greater operational efficiency.

According to data from Solili—cited by Grupo FREL—as of the end of September 2026, the total vacant office space nationwide stood at 2.6 million square meters (m²). This represents a 6% year-over-year decrease and a 13% reduction compared to 2024.

The office vacancy rate currently sits at 14.7%, while rental prices have reached their highest level in two years.
