One of the real estate segments most affected by the Covid-19 pandemic was office space, which, due to greater restrictions on the use of corporate spaces, was severely affected; however, more than two years after the health emergency was declared, this item seems to show signs of recovery.

According to analyzes from different firms, the occupation of corporate spaces in recent months has accelerated steadily, along with a decrease in the number of new buildings, which is a positive sign for this real estate segment, but it is still It has the pending of generating an adequate offer for the future in the short term of the use of offices.

"The recovery, although it has been gradual, has been sustained over time and the vacancy that affected the demand seems to have been left behind," can be read in the report on this segment by the firm Solili, corresponding to last October.

According to the Solili report, the absorption of corporate spaces in the country during the first three quarters of the year exceeded 80% of what was registered in the same period of 2021. In this context, last October, more than 45,000 square meters were registered ( m2) of absorption of these spaces, with special dynamism in the markets of Mexico City and Monterrey.
