More than 6 million certified m2 report real estate fibers in Mexico

The Mexican Association of Real Estate Fibers (AMEFIBRA) reported that at the end of 2022, its affiliates have a Gross Leasable Area (GLA) of six million 154 thousand 791 certified square meters, associated with environmental or sustainability issues.

In Governance issues, 60% reported that they have a crisis response and management plan, an increase of 13% compared to 2021.

Regarding Environmental issues, 87% monitor their waste generation and their Greenhouse Gas emissions, improving their control and monitoring by 14% compared to the same period last year.

Finally, in the Social sphere, 9,268,203 people were benefited through community outreach programs and close to 61 million pesos have been invested in social or community impact programs.
