Housing prices in Mexico vary widely between states. According to figures from the Federal Mortgage Society (SHF), Mexico City tops the list of states with the most expensive housing in the country, with an average price of 4,397,976 pesos.

In addition to the capital, Baja California Sur, Querétaro, Baja California, and Nayarit stand out among the states with the highest average prices. Baja California Sur reported homes with an average value of 2,813,000 pesos, while Querétaro exceeded 2,371,000 pesos.

In contrast, Tlaxcala registered the lowest average price, with homes valued at around 1,073,000 pesos. Tamaulipas, Durango, Zacatecas, and Veracruz are also among the most affordable states.
