Hyatt Hotels Corporation (NYSE: H) and Grupo Sordo Madaleno (now SOMA) announced an innovative mixed-use complex in Polanco, Mexico City.

The ambitious development, currently under construction, will bring the first Park Hyatt hotel and residences, as well as a state-of-the-art office tower.

Park Hyatt hotels are located in several of the most sought after destinations in the world, and it will be a transformation for Polanco, the most vibrant area for commerce and tourism in Mexico City.

With a design based on the careful study of the multicultural dynamics of this great metropolis, Park Hyatt Mexico City will propose timeless architecture designed by Sordo Madaleno Arquitectos (SMA) to offer luxury experiences tailored to international travelers with demanding tastes.

The complex consists of two 144-meter high towers that will establish its presence as a new icon in this exceptional area of the city.

The first tower is destined to house the Park Hyatt Mexico City hotel and residences, which will offer spectacular views of the Chapultepec Forest.

The lower floors of the tower feature exceptional services, including a state-of-the-art gym, spa and pool, with unparalleled views and high-level service.

The hotel spans levels six through 18, offering a variety of room types, ranging from standard rooms to spacious suites.

The 22 exclusive residences of 500 m2 and a luxurious 1,000 m2 penthouse will make up the upper floors of the tower, from floors 19 to 30.

Each residence will have impressive terraces that offer unobstructed views of the Chapultepec Forest.

Residents will enjoy the hotel's world-class amenities, including the fitness center, spa, and pool, but the owner's experience will be different from that of the hotel guest, including access to a separate private entrance to the hotel.

Adding a third use to the complex, the second tower, located on Arquímedes Avenue, will be used exclusively for corporate use, with open and flexible spaces that allow a variety of internal configurations and that offer landscapes over the Polanco neighborhood.

Park Hyatt Mexico City, currently under construction, seeks to have a positive impact on its surroundings, as well as the environment, and for this reason, it aspires to achieve LEED Gold certification for efficient energy consumption, minimal emissions and optimal use of the resources.
