Industrial construction starts in Querétaro report a 20% annual contraction

Queretaro's industrial market began construction of 324,000 square meters of industrial warehouses in the first three quarters of the year, registering a 20% decrease compared to the same period in 2024.

Developers have been cautious about starting new industrial projects due to the decline in national demand and the availability of recently completed warehouses that have not yet been occupied.

Aeropuerto submarket accounted for 58% of the industrial projects initiated during 2025, followed by the México - Querétaro submarket with 33%, while the Querétaro - San Luis Potosí submarket contributed the remaining 9%.
