Industrial construction starts in Bajío register more than 120,000 m² in October 2025

As of the end of October 2025, the Bajío industrial region registered the start of construction on 122,000 square meters of industrial buildings, representing a 16% increase compared to the same month in 2024.

Guanajuato accounted for 48% of the industrial construction starts registered in October, followed by Queretaro with 44%, and Aguascalientes with the remaining 8%.

The new projects that began construction in Bajio in October are primarily Build-to-Suit developments, representing 76% of the total, while the remaining 24% corresponds to speculative buildings.

Construction activity in the Bajio industrial sector remains dynamic, accounting for 20% of new construction starts nationwide in October 2025. Furthermore, the region stands out for offering competitive rental prices, below the national average of $7.31 USD per square meter.
