The Mexican Association of Private Industrial Parks (AMPIP) believes Mexico has the conditions to attract a new wave of manufacturing investment in North America, although it cautioned that the country must address infrastructure and logistics challenges to capitalize on this opportunity.

The association's president, David O'Donnell, emphasized that the reorganization of supply chains (nearshoring) keeps Mexico as one of the top destinations for companies relocating.

O'Donnell maintained that the national manufacturing sector is undergoing a transformation driven by automation and the incorporation of new technologies.
He believes that Mexico's opportunity will depend on converting companies' interest into concrete projects and greater integration of production chains within North America.
