
Given the logistical problems facing the country and the opportunities of the Agreement between Mexico, the United States and Canada (T-MEC), T-Mex Park will allow for better connectivity and capacity for the movement of goods, a project that already has 20 clients and it would begin to operate from 2022, according to its directors.
Alfredo Neme Martínez, general director of the project, explained that the construction of this work has already begun, which will be near the new Felipe Alvarez International Airport (AIFA), with an initial investment of 13 billion pesos and a final capacity of 3 thousand tons per day and 65 thousand direct and indirect jobs will be generated.
He specified that a few weeks ago they signed an alliance with Ferrovalle with the aim of promoting said work and projects that allow speeding up the movement of goods.
T-Mex Park will have a railway line, airport services, land connectivity through the Circuito Exterior Mexiquense, as well as the México-Pachuca, Zumpango-Tecámac, Tultepec-Pirámides and Mexico-Queretaro highway, hotels and a heliport. 370 hectares will be available for the logistics park.

It will also have industrial parks, platforms for maneuvers, distribution centers of different sizes, each user can design their own installation according to their needs, transfer, specialized area in food, refrigerated, grains and seeds, among others, to serve the services of last Mille.
In the same way, he explained that they also agreed with the corresponding authorities of the AIFA to be the "third line", that is, whoever needs cargo but not a hangar that is very expensive in dollars because they go with us or whoever needs a hotel he goes with us. All those services that an airport needs is what we will have, we are a complement to its master plan ”.
“We will have a tax area that will allow us to make the transformation. We are going to move any type of merchandise, energy as well, we do not know if storage, but distribution, transfer. We are meditating if we do it ”, pointed out Neme Martínez.

The work has already started construction since they have all the permits from the government of the State of Mexico, federal and municipal. Likewise, they estimate that it will be in about a year when the first plant in T-Mex Park will be operating, although it stated that they already have 20 clients from different branches such as steel and agri-food.
It will be a state-of-the-art multimodal logistics platform, with airport, industrial and international trade services and equipment, a complex 20 times larger than the Santa Fe Shopping Center, and will have multimodal cargo handling capacity, which will integrate an entire productive chain, from planning to receipt and shipment of merchandise and exports.
In addition, it will benefit the regions of Zumpango, Tultepec, Tultitlán, Tonanitla, Jaltenco, Tecámac and Tizayuca.
