The manufacturing sector drove 70% of industrial demand in the Bajio region in January

As of the end of January 2026, industrial demand in the Bajio region reached a total of 110,000 square meters, representing a 6% increase compared to the same month in 2025.

The leasing of industrial properties was primarily driven by companies in the manufacturing sector, which accounted for 70% of demand in the Bajío region and continue to be one of the main drivers of investment in the region.

Companies such as Zhongding, Plasticos Durex, and other players in the manufacturing sector boosted industrial demand during January 2026, making the region a key driver of productive activity.

The Bajio region accounted for 28% of national industrial demand in January and is expected to continue its strong industrial activity, supported by a large supply of space and competitive rental prices below the national average.
