
At the end of May, Mexico City reported 800,000 square meters of industrial warehouses under construction, ranking it as the second most active market nationwide, accounting for 15% of the total under development.

Currently, more than 30 industrial projects are underway in Mexico City, primarily Class A developments with surface areas ranging from 5,000 to 52,000 square meters.
The Toluca submarket leads the industrial construction market in the city, accounting for 30% of the total. Its appeal lies in its excellent connectivity and competitive prices, followed by the Cuautitlan submarket, with 24%, and the Zumpango submarket, with 22%.
Of the industrial projects under construction, 73% are currently available for leasing, which could lead to an increase in market vacancy once these projects are completed.

Despite the global economic outlook, Mexico City's industrial market remains a focus of interest for companies. The capital maintains one of the highest demand levels in the country, driving the construction of new projects.
