Coworking and how work communities benefit
Alto Nivel | June 21, 2022 |

In the early 2000s, entrepreneurs and companies of all sizes were looking for better, more flexible and efficient places to work that would take advantage of technological developments. Thus, coworking was born as a temporary and low-cost solution that organizations used as a provisional alternative while they found a place to settle permanently.

Javier and Adrián García Iza realized the opportunity that was coming their way and they took advantage of it: they created IOS Offices, an office rental model to boost business productivity with unparalleled service and first-class infrastructure.

In a conversation between its founders and High Level, they commented that the differentiators they offered to become the ideal work space at the beginning of 2007 in their first headquarters in Monterrey were aimed at seeking long-term relationships, offering an extraordinary service, cutting-edge technology, as well as first world facilities and infrastructure.

They managed to offer the Mexican businessman an environment of a sense of belonging, community and networking, which translated into more value for their companies. In this way, entrepreneurs could focus on generating wealth, setting goals and working to achieve them, something that would benefit them in the long term.

In a year they extended the concept to Mexico City, opening the new IOS Offices Reforma 222 center, recognized in 2007 by the Association of Real Estate Developers (ADI) as the best development in the country. 15 years later, they have 40 business centers that are available in 12 cities in the Republic: Mexico City, Estado de México, Monterrey, Guadalajara, Tijuana, Cancún, Puebla, Villahermosa, Querétaro, Mérida, Culiacán and León

The pandemic greatly affected corporate offices, but it also accelerated a change that was already evident and that would probably take place in the coming years.

Videoconferences and remote work have become part of the routine of many companies, allowing employees to have weekly or monthly meetings and, at the same time, receive suppliers and clients from other cities, maintaining the image and professionalism that the company needs.

Of interest: What does the hybrid future of work hold for us?

Towards the future, the founders of IOS Offices contemplate a business model where the investor proposes a new business center in an AAA building and is taken into account to continue growing nationally, positioning us as leaders in the coworking market in Mexico and adding more and more square meters so that the coworking market grows and becomes stronger.

IOS Offices contemplates new strategic alliances with commercial partners that share our long-term vision, recognizing in this concept the highest quality standards, not only in the facilities, but above all in the service.
