Industrial space construction in Mexico continued to adjust during July 2026. According to data from Solili, the total area under construction reached 3.8 million square meters (m²) by the end of the month—a 20% decrease compared to the 4.7 million m² recorded a year earlier.

Construction activity was concentrated primarily in Monterrey and Mexico City; each of these markets recorded nearly one million square meters under construction.

However, year-over-year trends varied. Saltillo saw the sharpest decline, with a 53% drop in the area under construction. It was followed by Querétaro (down 44%), Monterrey (43%), San Luis Potosí (42%), and Tijuana (29%).
