The president of COMCE highlighted that one of the most significant changes is the reduction in ratification time compared to traditional processes. This will allow the benefits to begin materializing in the short term, with effects expected between the end of 2026 and 2027.

Over the next five years, bilateral trade could grow by up to 35%, with greater dynamism in Mexican exports (25%-40%) compared to imports from Europe (15%-30%), the latter driven primarily by capital goods and technology.
