CFMoto invests 46 million dollars in its first plant in Apodaca

With an investment of 46 million dollars (mdd), CFMOTO inaugurated its first plant in Apodaca, Nuevo León, which will generate 500 jobs.

Up to 100,000 off-road vehicles will be manufactured annually at the new 75,000-square-meter headquarters, according to the statement.

“The Mexico plant represents a cornerstone of our vision to become a premium global powersports brand,” said Minjie Lai, the company's CEO.

Who also reported that the factory will help CFMOTO to significantly reduce costs, giving it a greater advantage in market competition.

"We will continue to work with local partners to explore the global market and promote a higher level of development."

From October 2021 to date, 148 investment projects have been confirmed in the state, representing 21,559 million dollars, creating 92,058 jobs.

"27% of the 148 investment projects correspond to the automotive sector, one of the most dynamic in our economy," said Iván Rivas, state economy secretary.

Of the total investments in Nuevo León, 28 come from China. To date, CFMOTO has a presence in Asia, Europe and North America, where it employs more than five thousand people.
