Foreign investment in Zacatecas is the result of the negotiations that the state government carries out with Asian authorities and businessmen. The visit from South Korea, for example, managed to attract more than 1,000 million pesos in investments in the automotive industry.

The Secretary of Economy, Rodrigo Castañeda, highlighted the impact that the investment of the company founded in Tokyo, Japan will have on the entity, since with the plant expansion project, which would be carried out from 2024 to 2027, 200 new jobs would be generated.

The investment project will increase the manufacture of aluminum ingots and molds to supply automotive companies such as Toyota, Nissan, Honda and Suzuki.
