In 2021, the transformations that began in 2020 during the pandemic will be reflected, configurations from which architecture is not exempt.

The changes that can be seen in the design will not be radical, since in previous years they have been adopted gradually, however, it will be time for the trends to consolidate.
For Perkins and Will, an international architecture firm with an office in Monterrey, Nuevo León, the changes experienced have been, and should be, received with a design that fits.

To achieve this, the generation of living architecture —which adapts to the changes that the user needs— and putting people's well-being at the center, must be strengthened. So this 2021, certifications and strategies focused on sustainability and wellness will cease to be a luxury to become the rule.

Which in turn will cause greater investment in mechanical equipment, air conditioning, and the use of technologies to have greater security and control of spaces, as well as the adoption of designs that take advantage of the environment to make the most of it.
