The logistics sector foresees new opportunities for economic recovery in the second half of the year, after the impact caused by the Covid-19 pandemic in the first half of 2020.
Both the entry into force of the Treaty between Mexico, the United States and Canada (T-MEC), and the trade war between China and the United States, generate possibilities to attract new investment projects to Mexican territory, which would imply an increase in operations logistics, as reported by Luis Hernández Yáñez, president of the Cluster for Logistic Innovation in Querétaro (CILQRO).
During the pandemic, not everything has been bad, as various digital advances and new business models have been promoted, which encourages the reactivation of logistics activities, for which he added: “The entry of the T-MEC, digital advances , the new business models based on changes in consumer habits, the new world economic order based on the United States-China relationship, all this generates a situation that can promote business in Mexico. The new cycle based on innovation and opportunities ”.
