Industrial activity registered an increase of 3.3% in August 2020

Industrial production in Mexico advanced 3.3 percent at a monthly rate during August, the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi) reported on Monday.

The institute detailed that the Monthly Industrial Activity Indicator (IMAI) stood at 94.11 points, still below the levels registered before the pandemic, when it stood at 98.37 units in March. In addition, it adds three consecutive months in positive territory.
