Gross fixed investment in Mexico rebounded 2.83 percent in October compared to the previous month, based on seasonally adjusted figures, as published Tuesday by the National Institute of Statistics and Geography (Inegi).

The foregoing meant that the indicator recorded its lowest rise since November 2019, on that occasion it advanced 1.05 percent at a monthly rate.

During September, the gross fixed investment presented a drop of 2.64 percent.

This investment represents the expenses made in machinery and equipment of national and imported origin, as well as construction, said Inegi.
