The automotive industry in Mexico predicts that 2021 will be marked by a growth of between 12% and 24% from the production and export of light vehicles to the manufacture of auto parts and components, respectively, derived from the good forecasts and the environment favorable that persists in the United States and Canada, despite the fact that the phenomenon of the Covid-19 pandemic will continue.
While in the domestic market, a recovery is also expected in car sales for this year, to the extent that financing improves and inflation continues.
This was announced by the representatives of the Mexican Association of the Automotive Industry (AMIA), the National Auto Parts Industry (INA) and the Mexican Association of Automotive Distributors (AMDA) during the press conference at the beginning of the year, who trusted that pre-pandemic levels are achieved.
