Coahuila seeks to strengthen its housing policies

According to Jericó Abramo Masso, Secretary of Housing and Territorial Planning of the state of Coahuila, the entity faces significant challenges regarding the proper location of the home. Between 2014 and 2019, only 10.1% of more than 66,400 homes financed by credits and subsidies were located in consolidated areas; while 47.7% did so in peripheral areas.

Likewise, it estimated that more than 99% of Coahuila's housing supply was generated under the modality of horizontal horizontal housing ’, which has reflected a pattern of low-density urban growth.
