The company carried out the inauguration of the third expansion of the ZKW company (Phase 3.1) consisting of 15,700 square meters, and laid the first stone of Phase 3.2

It is estimated that with this expansion the company invested 102 million dollars and 830 new jobs will be created; while in laying the first stone of Phase 3.2, 51.21 million dollars will be invested to build the plant that, once completed, will generate 416 new jobs.

With the current plant expansion and the upcoming expansion plan until 2025, ZKW is investing more than €100 million in the Silao plant.

The company currently employs 1,658 people in Mexico, who produce high-quality lighting systems for numerous automobile manufacturers in the United States and Mexico. And starting in 2025, headlights and central lights for VW and GM will be manufactured in Silao.
