The Chinese company Yanfeng Seating inaugurated its second plant in Ciénega de Flores, in Nuevo León, for which it invested 23 million dollars and will generate 800 new jobs. The company is also a supplier to Tesla.

In this complex, it is planned to produce up to 800 thousand sets of automotive seats for global customers. In Mexico, the firm also has a presence in Coahuila, Querétaro y San Luis Potosí.. Globally, Yanfeng Seating has 55,000 employees and has operations in 20 countries, including Germany, China, Slovakia, the United States, India and Japan.

The inauguration event was attended by Samuel Alejandro García Sepúlveda, Governor of Nuevo León; Iván Rivas, Secretary of Economy of Nuevo León and directors of Yanfeng Seating.

On the other hand, the governor points out that on his trip to Davos, Switzerland, where he participated in the World Economic Forum, it was very satisfying that the potential of Nuevo León to attract foreign investment was discussed.
