Witzenmann carried out the inauguration of its expansion of the plant installed in the Amistad Industrial Park, in Apaseo el Grande, Guanajuato. For the construction of said expansion, 14 million dollars were invested, thus reaching a total investment of 40 million dollars in Guanajuato, in its 8 years in the entity.
The new warehouse has 3,500 square meters of construction, a space that will generate 352 new jobs in the next five years, which will be added to the more than 1,200 additional indirect jobs that are estimated to be generated.

In addition, this expansion also includes the installation of a thousand solar cells to reduce the environmental footprint through the use of clean and renewable energy.
Carlos Talamantes, general director of Witzenmann explained: "We have been serving the automotive sector at the North American level for 8 years, we manufacture flexible metallic elements for vehicle exhaust systems and our products are used in practically all automotive brands."
The manager explained that the warehouse that is being inaugurated today integrates areas of production, logistics and new offices. In these new facilities, high-tech and new-generation products will be manufactured, such as piping systems that will allow them to venture into the subject of electromobility.
Witzenmann de México currently manufactures flexible couplings for the automotive industry. Its clients include Audi, Mercedes Benz, General Motors, Tenneco, Volkswagen and Rivian (manufacturer of electric cars in the United States).

The new project includes: piping for cooling electric car batteries; pressure accumulator for smart suspension of premium cars; transfer of all the fulles from North America to Mexico for internal combustion engines.
