WeWork Punto Sur opens 880 jobs in Guadalajara

While in Mexico City a quarter of the offices remain empty and the sector has historical unemployment levels, WeWork is carrying out expansion plans in Guadalajara.

The company considers that the flexibility of coworking is an element that will help in the recovery of the sector.

The coworking company will open 880 work centers in WeWork Punto Sur, a mixed-use development where there will also be a hotel, shopping center, restaurants and housing.

Álvaro Villar explains that the decision is taken to, in addition to reactivating the economy of this area of the city, to cover the demand for flexible spaces.

The manager explains that this type of corporate space has grown in recent months, as companies have opted for hybrid work models, which combine office work and telework, started during the pandemic.
