Vesta invests 101 million dollars in an industrial park in Tijuana

The Vesta Real Estate Corporation will make an investment of up to 101 million dollars for the construction of Vesta Park Mega Region, a project that began in 2021 and is expected to end in 2023.

Its location just 25 kilometers from the border is ideal for the most intense operations in terms of e-commerce and distribution, as well as for access to specialized labor.

The park will occupy an area of 93 thousand square meters, where 6 world-class buildings will be built that will have LEED certification, which allows the highest sustainability standards.

The investment in the strategic market of Tijuana will promote the generation of employment in the region, since it is part of the company's national strategy.

Baja California constitutes one of the five fundamental growth regions of the company and is the second place where they expect to grow more aggressively in the next five years in the country, as stated by Lorenzo D. Berho, CEO of Vesta.

This park is being built as part of our national strategy of continuous expansion in the country's most important development poles, according to the Vesta Level 3 strategic plan.

The announcement of this investment was made in the presence of Kurt Honold, State Secretary of Economic Development, and Marina del Pilar Ávila, Governor of Baja California, who highlighted the geographical advantages that the entity has and that place it as a reference investment.

As of December 31, 2021, Vesta had 189 properties located within modern industrial parks in 15 states of the Mexican Republic, as well as a total leasable area of 2.9 million m2.

Among its clients are companies from various industries, including: aerospace, automotive, beverages and food, logistics and medical devices, among others.
