Directors of the Valeo company announced that they will expand their plant located in Querétaro with the growth of the Technical Development Center (MTeC) for the manufacturing of technologies for the automotive industry. This company is a supplier to the automotive sector and a strategic partner of all automobile manufacturers in the world.

This expansion represents an investment, for the next five years, of more than two thousand 815 million pesos, as well as the generation of 510 potential jobs in the sector.

The president of Valeo in North America, Jeffrey Shay, explained that this investment has as its main focus integrating skills and competencies from all engineering disciplines.

For his part, the head of the Secretariat of Sustainable Development (SEDESU), Marco Antonio Del Prete, pointed out that regarding the sector from which this investment comes, during the period from January to November 10, 2023, 12 automotive projects have been completed. .
