From January to October 2021, 37 investment projects were successfully completed in Tamaulipas, with an investment of more than 850 million dollars and nearly 10,000 new jobs.

The Secretary of Economic Development of Tamaulipas commented that the entity will continue to consolidate itself as the "Logistics Platform of North America". Ingrid Ulloa Luna, director of operations at Cobifer, commented that there were several closures of investment projects, especially in expansions of operating plants, information obtained through the collaboration of industrial parks and brokers.

“Seeing that there is new construction by industrial park developers is a good thing, an interesting thing; You can see the movement that has occurred and the interest that currently exists in the market, and not only from already established companies but also from new companies, it is something very positive for the city”, said Samantha Almaguer, representative of the IGS Group.

Matamoros and Nuevo Laredo are other entities that continue to show confidence in the manufacturing sector where several companies have announced expansion projects.
