SJMFLEX de México, S. de R.L. de C.V., a South Korean capital company specialized in the manufacture of Stainless Steel Flexible Couplings and Engine Exhaust Gas Recirculation Tubes (EGR System), celebrated the expansion of its facilities in Puerto Interior, Guanajuato, with the placement of the first stone on November 28, 2023.

With a history of 7 years in operation in Puerto Interior, SJMFLEX has experienced constant growth, serving the North American and Brazilian markets with its specialized automotive products. SJMFLEX corporate offices are located in Ansan-si, Gyeonggi-do, Korea.

The expansion will consist of the construction of a new 2,500 m2 warehouse, with an investment of $1.2 million dollars, and aims to adapt to the changing demands of the market.

Héctor López Santillana, general director of Puerto Interior, highlighted the importance of this expansion for the region: “We want to build success stories in Guanajuato, where companies trust our people. “The government is a facilitator, and companies are experts in creating opportunities for development.”

Construction of the new infrastructure is scheduled to begin in December 2023, with an estimated 8 months for completion in August 2024. SJMFLEX de México thanked the Guanajuato community for its continued support and pledged to contribute to the growth and sustainable development of the region.
