The president of the State Council of Real Estate Professionals of Querétaro (CEPIQ), Arturo Hernández Serrano, stated that the increases could even reach between 20 and 30% annually.

The upward trend would be motivated by the increase in the prices of inputs for the construction of houses, among them the increase in steel, among other accessories that experience an increase.

In addition, the update of the cadastral value tables, which in 2021 did not experience increases as a measure against the effects of the pandemic.

For next year the council will provide data on the prices at which homes are sold in the state, in order for them to be considered by the Council of Appraisers in the analysis to adjust the cadastral tables; He added that the purpose is to compare and match the cadastral values with the commercial ones.
