The Swiss private sector will work together with the Mexican government in some initiatives to have an industrial policy that favors the growth of the country, said the president of the Swiss-Mexican Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SwissCham Mexico), Fernando Cruz.

He added that Mexico is relevant for Swiss investment (it is the 10th investor in the country), and they also find favorable conditions to continue injecting resources.

Just this year, the companies that are affiliated with the chamber, which are 50, have committed investment projects in the country for approximately 335 million dollars and that shows the importance that the Mexican market has for Swiss firms.

He indicated that the investment of the 400 Swiss companies with a presence in the country totaled more than 2 billion dollars at the end of 2019.

According to Solili, the Bajío area in the month of April 2021, accumulated a total of 152 thousand square meters of lease, showing signs of recovery in this area and it is expected that with foreign investment from companies of logistics, manufacturing, among others, these demand figures will continue increasing.
