
With two votes in favor, the Planning and Budget Commission of the Congress of Querétaro approved the disincorporation of a property for the execution of a Data Center Complex that will be located in the municipality of Colón.
According to the approved initiative, this complex will have an investment of 70 billion pesos and will generate more than 600 full-time jobs and 1,250 temporary jobs.

“The execution of the Complejo Data Centers Colón project will allow the attraction of additional investments, since the construction and operation of data centers entails a high capital investment,” he declared.
Likewise, the initiative establishes that the investment in data centers requires the training of highly qualified jobs and the development of supply chains related to their operation.
On the other hand, the initiative provides for the creation of a trust that will launch the project, in which the Executive Branch of the State of Querétaro will participate by contributing a property with a surface area of 518,470,545 square meters.
